Food & Water: Packaged snacks and factory-sealed plastic bottles of water or other non-alcoholic beverages in plastic bottles, no bigger than 32 oz., can be brought into the Stadium. Food. No outside food is allowed in the stadium except for two factory sealed bottles of water. Seats in the Shade There is not a lot of shade to go around at Scottsdale Stadium. Seats in row 3 and above in sections 300-306 and 309-310 are covered by the press box's awning. There is also some shade in the lawn seating in left field where a few trees can be found. Public parking structures are located at 2nd Street & Drinkwater, 2nd Street & Brown, and 3rd & Craftsman Court. Additional surface parking is also available throughout Downtown Scottsdale. Some stadiums also do not allow lawn chairs of any height, even with berm tickets. Additionally, all fruit must be sliced prior to entry into the ballpark and plastic, factory-sealed bottles of water no larger than one liter are allowed.
Pets are not allowed. Even in ballparks that have lawn seating, dogs aren't permitted in them. The sole animal exception: service (guide) dogs. Otherwise, animals of all kind cannot be brought into a spring training park.
Gates open at 10 a. m. The Kansas City Royals open the gates for workouts at 9:30 a. m. daily at the practice fields adjoining Surprise Stadium. This will also give you a chance to check out Texas Rangers practices as well. The Angels train at the six full fields adjacent to Tempe Diablo Stadium.
Gates B and J open at 2:30 p. m. For Season Ticket Holders, gates will open 2 hours prior to game time for Monday - Thursday regular-season games and 2. 5 hours prior to game time for Friday and Saturday regular-season games.
Salt River Fields regulations allow only soft-sided bags and containers 16"x16"x8" or smaller to be permitted in the gates. All permitted bags are subject to search both upon entry and within the ballpark. All gates utilize "Bag Check Lanes" for guests carrying permitted bags.
THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE PERMITTED INTO THE STADIUM: Clear bags which meet NFL bag policy guidelines. Food of any kind that is contained in a clear plastic bag. Non-alcoholic beverages in a factory-sealed bottle, however frozen drinks (water, etc) are not permitted.

Surprise Stadium allows food to be brought into the stadium. The food must be presented in a clear, sealed (factory, Ziploc, etc). One clear, sealed one (1) liter plastic water bottle or empty plastic water/sports bottles will be allowed, as will single serving juice boxes, baby food and formula.
Scottsdale is home to the San Francisco Giants, Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks. The San Francisco Giants play in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale at Scottsdale Stadium.

Three Giants spring training exhibitions will be televised from Arizona, and Mike Krukow will be in the Scottsdale Stadium broadcast booth for all three. A fourth exhibition will be broadcast as part of the two-game Bay Bridge Series, NBC Sports Bay Area announced Thursday.
