You'll find your wall oven's model number along the top left-hand side of the front panel. You'll find your cooktop's model number is located underneath the burner box. This should be visible once you flip over the cooktop. Model number is on inside right of frame or on the back corner of the frame. To determine the age of your appliance, use your serial number (not model number) to find date of manufacture. Our serial numbers begin with two letters followed by six numbers. The 2 letters at the beginning of the serial number tell you the month and year it was made. You will find the model number on a sticker or rating plate. This can usually be found either on the inside of the door (around the frame), the side or at the back of the appliance. A Model number can also be found on the manual/guide you received when you purchased your appliance. Be careful, as this sometimes can result in incorrect parts. Most often the manual/guide is produced to include several different models.

An oven element will cost you on average a cheap $20 to $25 dollars, possibly less. This task should take about 20 minutes in total. Doing this yourself will save you hundreds of dollars instead of calling an appliance repair company. You will first notice that your oven is not heating properly.

From the front of the range, reach behind the middle of the rear control panel and feel for a metal flag. Rotate the metal flag up to see the model label. Electric coil only. Under the left front surface unit.

In fact, the heating element is a tough old thing and rarely needs to be replaced before the rest of the oven breaks down. However, if you have an oven heating element that does need replacing, for example if it has developed a fault, don't worry. Replacing your oven heating element is not that difficult to do.

Protect children from scalds and burns with an Adjustable Stove Guard from Prince Lionheart. The Model and Serial number can be found on the bottom left side on the outside of your fridge.

The model number can be found on a white or silver data badge on; open the main oven door; the badge is situated on the bottom edge of the appliance or in the base of the pan storage drawer (high level models). Range Cookers: The model number and serial number can be found on the back of the unit.

Slide-In Ranges: The model and serial numbers are located either behind the storage drawer on the right side of the oven frame or on the right side of the bottom oven frame. Double Oven Ranges: The model and serial numbers are located behind the control panel.

On a broad range of models, the plate tends to be on the appliance housing; on the back for cookers and on either the side or the top for built-in ovens. Sometimes the Data Plate can be found by opening the main oven door on the rim of the oven cavity next to the door seal.
